Well i do know a few things kale Ele'ys throw a part of them selves when they attack like that its not like we do when we cast a spell. A spell in its casting is a set of Rules you could say, and when you are casting them you are using them for a set out come by channeling your only powers now I'm sure some where there is spells we don't know about such as a ice bolt that can do the same amount of damage as a flame bolt but the ways people think of magic is so set in there ways its hard for some one to brake from this. Here is a good way to think about this who cast the 1st spell and how did they do it? how was the 1st formal spell made I can bet it was not a copy formal scroll spell that was cast in fact Dervite knows more about that then me. so I'm sure at some point some where there will be new spells. If you look around you might even be able to fine some books on the first spells

"I've been looking the librarian showed me a section with some usefull information but it's not that indepth. Wait if the elementals are thorwing a part of themselves wouldn't that make them weaker. Anyway if you could just keep an eye open for any information involving this and if you find anything let me know."

Well thats why they can only throw so much before they run out. just like a mage or healer casting a spell you can only cast so much then you are unable to cast any more. but i will keep an eye out for anything i can for you.

No no no you silly flaming elf elementals do not throw a piece of themself at you when they use the powers that they have they simply cast from a different type of magic. I would have thought you knew that already. As for the first formal scroll ever made I could have sworn that I told someone about that already but if I must repeat myself then I will. You see a long time ago a very powerful scroll maker attempted to make a more powerful scroll then anyone else had ever made. It was him that found that some things naturally have a magical charge to them and can be used to power more powerful types of magic......

i consider the magic i cast a part of me it depends on the way you look at magic. the same way two people can look at a glass and say half full half empty. yes my magic may come from the same place as ever other caster but it is something i call forth like some warriors feel that there blade is a part of them. why is it hard to believe that an elemental might think the same way? no it may not be a text book answer but i also do not mean they are throwing a arm at some one when a piece of stone comes flying out of a stone elemental. and as of the first formal scroll you told me but since it was your knowledge i felt you telling the story would be better then me botching it up some how if he asked a question that i didn't know

Jaiden leans over to Kale, confused
"What do you mean, 'another Vicktor'? You mean that Vicktor is unsure of himself?"
Jaiden's eyes grow stressed, as he struggles to remember the last market day.
"Honestly, I dont remember Vicktor doing any fighting. At all."

"Knowledge is pointless unless it is told to all. It does not belong to anyone and is always open to interpretation. Just like Magic many see the same thing in many different lights."
Looking to Jaiden.
"Although a weapon might not have been drawn much it does not mean that fighting did not take place. There are many more battles that go on then those that are fought in the streets by archaic means."

Glaring at Dervite
So it seems.
Jaiden picks up his book, returns it to the shelf ("Curses, where did I find this...") in its improper place, and makes toward the door. "Thank you all for your encouragement. I am enlightened to certain things about my magics, and I am off to see exactly how they work. Good day, sirs."

Watching Jaiden as he turns to leave;
"If you are in need of instruction in your magics and there use I could be of some assistance in those matters. But be wary my teachings are quite harsh this is the only warning you get."
Now back to the group gathered before him:
"For now I must find something here so I will leave you for a short time"
Noticing out of the corner of his eye that the librarian had completed what they were doing and heading this way Dervite' ducks back behind a row of books.
