She places a hand on Coarro's shoulder to stop him.
"It went on for miles, Coaroo. How close do you plan to get? This is a suicide mission all for a letter. I'm surprised I did not think of this earlier, but if I may suggest another alternative..."
Even she looks as if she doesn't want to go inside.
"The undead I spoke to you of, was out leading a group when I saw him. I can only assume why, but he returned when night fell. It may be that if we just wait, he will arrive around the same time. That or maybe I can take you down the path in the direction he came from, yes?"

Coaroo looks toward the cave, clearly thinking. Turning to Hellish he finally speaks up. "Hellish, you are a tracker, right? Between your skills and our scent we may be able to follow the path better, and this way we can stay together. Before that, though, I would still like to see inside to make sure they're all still here and that they haven't moved on. I'll go myself, and if anything happens you will all know very soon."
Looking at Tia's surprised face, Coaroo continues. "If this place makes even you nervous I wont have you chance it. I have a higher chance if I go alone, and this way if something does happen, the feature in me they recognized before may buy me some time."
Turning back to the group, Coaroo smiles despite himself. "If I am suddenly swarmed by hundreds of undead, count me as lost. There is no sense in all of you being killed, and I know the risk I'm taking. I do this not for some simple note, as Tia stated, but because I care what is happening to me enough to realize it may be dangerous. If all goes well, I will be back very shortly."
Looking back to Tia, Coaroo adds. "That is, if all those with royal blood allow." After stating this, he looks to Bramus. "Just like old times, walking into the beasts belly, hmm?"

It doesn't take too much time or effort to determine that this cave entrance is in fact well guarded. Moving shadows can be seen within the cavern entrance, and there is no easy path to get there unseen.
Out of the corner of the eye, high up in the peaks, the shine of sun reflected off of metal can be seen, and then disappears.

Seeing the glint from the peaks, Coaroo gasps. "Be on your guard," He warns. We may have just been spotted. I think we should go with Tia's plan and go further up the trail. Do you all agree?"
Coaroo doesn't wait for consent, but instead turns quickly as he looks around in his paranoid Coaroo manner. He looks to Tia. "Which way?"

"I apologize Coaroo, I did not mean to make this seem as trite as a piece of paper, I meant only that perhaps that way was not the best. I would do well to work on my phrasing..."
She glances up where the reflection was and then quietly makes her way off the road and into the brush and rocks nearby out of sight.
"Follow me and keep as quiet as you can."
Without looking back, she pads softly in the direction she remembers the undead coming from.

Coaroo, being very quiet for his size, quickly catches up to Tia. Bending near to her ear, he whispers softly. "No offense taken from your comment. I knew what you meant, but I was clarifying for the rest of the group that didn't know why we came." Silently, with both blades still drawn, Coaroo follows the fox scavenger toward the road through the brush.

Bramus moves to a good vantage point and eyes the pair moving carefully. He motions Kale to stay near him, his eyes never leaving Tia. Occasionally Bramus will look to the cave to see if the undead are moving from the entrance and stands poised, his sword out and at the ready.
"Stay close and be ready to move..."

Before too long, the road opens up and a fork appears. It is clearly recognizable. This main road is a well travelled path up from Akliceium and Lochling, and well known to many. To the north and down the path leads back to Ackliceium and the city, and up the path, but south, to the Sarr lands and rumors of a Army of the Southern Province stronghold. Up the path and to the NorthWest, a main road further away from the kingdom and toward Quadlum.

She looks back and shrugs.
"This is as far as I got before I was lost as to which why I should go. He came from this direction, but from where I do not know. You could maybe wait for him to show up tonight, yes?"

Bramus watches from his new position, close and with more concealment from the brush. He motions for the others to follow slowly and watches, scanning slowly for any movement or threats. His breathing is slow and controlled, his senses keen.
"What are you up too..."
Said more to himself than to anyone...

"Tia, thank you for guiding us this far, and Sir Bramus, thank you for your alertness throughout this travel. I'm afraid other then being alert there is little more you can do from here."
"Kale, if anyone needs protectives or anything else you may spare we would appreciate it, but I am currently set on those."
Turning to Hellish, Coaroo motions for him to come closer. "We had done some tracking together before, but you probably wouldn't remember it. I will do what I can to rule out some things, but the rest will be up to you. Once we know all we can, we can decide what to do next."
Bending low and smelling left to right with mouth open, Coaroo begins to tell Hellish what he can. "These deep marks were made from the wagon the goblins were using. They reek of rotting goblin and sweating wolf. These," Coaroo gestures. "smell like the kobolts that came into town recently, and maybe a bit of orcs too." Coaroo sniffs a bit more...
"I think these with the pointed toes are from the boots of a human patrol, probably the guards." Coaroo smells a few more times deeply. "There is a hint of blood and sweat in the area, but I can not pick out any individual scent beyond that. The rest is up to your skills."
Watching Hellish at work, Coaroo narrows his eyes. "If you would care to share a bit of your art, I would also like to try to aid you in any way I can. I've done some basic tracking, but it would be helpful to learn more."

Kale looks around at the party and quietly moves toward eachone asking
"What sort of protections do you need?"
As he moves around casting the protections that are need.

Coaroo quickly realizes what Hellish knew from the start of searching this crossroads. There is no way to divide so many tracks and know for sure which was the group we were looking for. Finally conceding, Coaroo sighs. "Thank you all for your help, but it looks like this is where the trail ends." We're not too far from town, so I'm sure we can pick up the trail another time."
"Tia, thank you for your guidance, I'm sure it Will be helpful when we decide the time is necessary. Tracking each of these trails would take far too long, and may be a waste of effort anyway." Coaroo pauses before finishing his statement, looking thoughtful. "Besides, if the goblins are fighting them, I'm sure our paths will meet soon."
Coaroo points his shoes toward town.
