---- The nightmare follows me wherever i go. I can not run from it, I can not hide from it. I tried once, hiding in a town called whitestone. I was there but a month before it collapsed under itself, revealing horrid beasts that which i do not wish to describe.
---- Myself and a few others managed to escape, through a caravan, to lochling where i now stay. I managed to hide from it for a while i occupied my mind with other things, such as fighting ware wolfs and stealing from a particularly.... happy death jester, fighting lizerdmen, goblins, and i have even encountered a few water elementals, although i try not to think about that close encounter with death.
---- Come to think about it, i have had many close encounters with death, but i have never really feared death. I have heard that everybody's spirit is strong enough to withstand two resurrections at least.
---- One of my traveling companions, one of a few that i would trust with my life, is responsible for my first death.
---- His name is gilliante, and he is a Gypsy. He has earned my trust, and me his. He has been pushing me to join his clan, but in order to do that, i must first become a Gypsy. He told me that i must drink from a cup, and i will either become a Gypsy, or it will not work.
---- He didn't tell me that i would die if it didn't work, i don't think even he knew. But the worst could that could have happened, did. I died, and this is when i first realized my mortality, my weakness, and this is when i remembered what i had tried for so long to forget.
---- I saw the most horrid things i could have seen, the most terrifying images that i could imagine during those long hours it seemed. I saw them all........ but not for the first time. I saw my family, killed before my very eyes. My friends, slaughtered as I watched as helpless this time as i had been all those years ago.
---- I can not sleep for days at a time, and when sleep finally does find me, the images of my family and friends during their last moments returns to me, and i wake up during the night, screaming, covered with a cold sweat. The nightmares grow worse as each agonizing day passes.

---- After another sleepless night, walker heads toward the tavern, looking for something, anything, to get his mind off the thoughts that dwell inside him. He walks into the tavern and orders a drink, giving the tavern keep 2 silvers, 1 for the drink, and one for a tip, and heads to one of the tables and begins to sip his drink.
