The small sliver of the moon outside the tavern doesn't lend much light to the night, so Tia pauses to let her eyes adjust as much as they will. Once she can make the pathway out, she gingerly steps out onto it, tense and uncertain. As she passes the stable. Her ears flick in annoyance at the whinnies and neighs inside, and she answers them with a hushed hiss of her own. Rubbing her forehead again, she looks around to get her bearings and squints in the dark to try and make out landmarks in the distance. Finally she gives up and loosening her sword in it's scabbard, begins to steadily walk toward the town gate.

Her thoughts quickly drift to subjects she hadn't reflected on in years, not because they had been forgotten, but because it was purposeful. Eventually she realizes that she's been wandering aimlessly for some time, and this part of the city is unknown to her. Even better... Passing a nearby tavern, she stops in to inquire if they know of any local alchemists who might be willing to do business with her. Those who maybe practice their skill on the side and were relatively unknown.

After finding the information she needs, Tia heads out into the night again. She recites the directions that had been given her over again in her head as she follows them on foot. The area gradually grows even seedier, if that's possible, and soon she finds herself gripping the hilt of her sword without thinking. Luckily she finds no trouble along her route and eventually comes to a rough hewn door that appears to be the place.
Knocking gently, the door opens a crack and she discreetly makes her request. The door slams shut in her face and she feels for her nose to make sure it's all still there. A few locks and bolts can be heard moving about and moments later, the door opens to allow her inside. Without a second thought, she pads into the blackness and the door closes, this time more quietly, swallowing her inside as it does.

Time seemed to have stood still while Tia anxiously waited. In reality, it wasn't that long, but she was ready to leave long before then. With her package neatly wrapped and tucked safely under her arm, she once again she made her way back through the allies in the dark with only the moon as her light. At least they had been nice enough steer her in the right direction. It wasn't long before she was spotted familiar surroundings and soon she was back in front of the tavern. Nervously, she chews her bottom lip, and steps inside.
