Packing her things up for the last time, a small grin creeps along the corner of Tia's lips. As if the rest of the town hadn't given her reason long ago, the anarchy that was about to come to this little place that Bramus once called home was about to be unleashed and she wanted no part of it. Afterall, she never got so much as a thank you for helping in saving their kingdome this time. There was no way she was giving up anymore for them, and Drakemyre called to her to return home...for good. Or at least until Arainyn wanted to go out and play again.
With the last of her things finally bundled and ready to go, she took one last look around the room, not for sentimental reasons, but to make sure she hadn't left anything, and then walked out toward the tavern. A sadness crept over her as passed the door next to hers, but she resolved herself to keep her head forward as she escaped into the common room.
Here, she glanced at the commotion going on between a few of the adventurers, but she paid them only a sidelong glance. She didn't have time for their childish nonsense today. Not anymore.
Outside a carraige awaited her, but she stopped to give the pigeon carrier a letter to send to her brother. He was gone, as usual, but this way he wouldn't worry and he would know where to go once he too, was finally done with this place.
The nagging feeling of dread returned, pounding in the back of her, but she pushed it away.
"Soon," she whispered to herself, "Soon..."
