Hello, My name is Radonious Excavier Hellfire, and I am in search of the people formerly residing in the town of Whitestone. I beleive my father had once lived among you, and though I doubt many of you, if any, remember his short stay with you in that ruined city, it is my intent to continue where he left off. I am currently unable to make it to your shore, as I have spent most of my money traveling the roads from what was once Whitestone. Any information reguarding these matters, and the whereabouts of one "Janorba," would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Radonious Hellfire
(the following addendum is pinned at the bottom of this note)
I appologize for the confusion... My father died several years ago, but he had an interest in this "Janorba," who he said had a business plan that would put Whitestone on every map in the land. The ruin of said town, however, must have destroyed his plans. I wanted to speak to this Janorba to see what my fathers last days were in search of, and weather or not he found the path he desired. Your implication that this Janorba ended up being an enemy of yours, however, leads me to the thought that my father may have been wrong about this Janorba's intentions.

He had a son? Much less one old enough to search for him...Tell me, what interest do you have in J? He's a memory most of us left behind in Whitestone, but I was there the day we first went into battle with him and through many of the battles which followed. Although my memory is sketchy of those days, I may be able to enlighten you to a few things, should I deem your intentions worthy.

P.S. Steer clear from the roads to Greenfields if you wish to keep your coin

My Lord Rowen-Witton,
I am honored to find that my post has found your interest, my lord, and I do wish I could be there to speak to you further on these matters, but I am unfortunatly stuck here do in part to your addendum at the end of your last missive.
I appologize for the confusion... My father died several years ago, but he had an interest in this "Janorba," who he said had a business plan that would put Whitestone on every map in the land. Your implication that this Janorba ended up being an enemy of yours, however, leads me to the thought that my father may have been wrong about this Janorba's intentions.
As for my intentions I desired to follow my fathers way in seeking a better life then that which I have had the past many years, and returning some of my familys prier wealth and glory for our future generations... weather this means through war or peace is yet to be seen. Let me assure you, however, that I desire only for the latter. Perchance when this bitter winter is over I will be able to make it to your shores, but for now I will continue to save what little coin I have till I can make the trip there.
Respectfully, Radonious Hellfire

A gentleman I came to town with will be sending me several messages from these posts, but as to when any reply is sent will be up to the wind and the bird, as it were. I hope this clears any confusion from my first message.

J with a plan to put Whitestone on the map? Perhaps there is some confusion somewhere...It may be that we are discussing two different Janorba's, or that you were confused by your fathers plans.
Otherwise, it shows that your father was in consorts with J. Allow me to quickly clarify. J had once been a celestial caster of great renown, but his desire for power brought him to an unsightly transformation. He was a day-walker; a vampire who could walk in the daylight, and he plagued our town for many years. Eventually he would go so far as to fuse his form with that of an ice drake as well. He had always had his own motives for power and it was not unlike him to trick others into helping him find his way.
He was nothing more than a scourge to our people. Whitestone had been destroyed before. As I recall, it was something J had a hand in doing.

Perhaps that is how he put it 'on the map', m'Lord?

Mr. Hellfire,
My only advice for you is that you avoid anything and/or anyone affliated with Janorba. I was there through it all, his numerous attacks, death dealt by his hand, destruction on a scale not seen by many in a long time. Nothing good can come from information pertaining to "J". Conduct your business by all means, but anything pertaining to Janorba will only lead you down a dark road with little to no answers.
Respectfully,

My Lords and Lady,
I am afraid that your advice may ring all too true. As I have done research into this matter the first fall of Whitestone seems to coincide with the rise of this "J," who I can only assume is one in the same as the "Janorba" my father wrote me about. Lady Willis, I'm afraid, is probably correct in her implication; I could see how a crafty one with lust for power could trick my father into helping with such a devious plot. I can only hope that his last molments were spent in dignity, and that his hand in this was minimal. I am very greatful to all of you for your generosity of information, and I hope to be able to repay the favor some day soon. As far as the unfortunate events that befell all of you, you have my empathy, as well as my respect for staying through those trials. To see an ice drake must have been a thing of wonder, but to defeat one must have been a thing of true awe!
I will follow the advice that you made, m'lord Prayer, and will pursue this "Janorba" no further. Pray, if any of you can tell me what happened to Whitestone, and what, if anything, can be done? Also, are the former residents of Whitestone still finding the same fortune and honor in Lochling, and what dangers and rewards await one there? ... I came searching for answers only to find more questions, but such is my fate. Please, if there is anything more you can tell me, I would be most appreciative.
Greatfully, Radonious Hellfire

M'lady Mira,
I thank you for the bits of knowledge that were scattered throughout your last message, as the messenger who sends the posts to me made an exact copy of it.Though it was a bit random (mabee because of the peppermint he said the message smelt of), I was able to interpret the following:
1. Mira is a Sarr healer who came from Whitestone to Lochling. 2. The new town is more peaceful then Whitestone was. 3. Supplies and quantity of stores are much better then they were in Whitestone. 4. New people including Sarr have come into town recently. 5. There is war in the Sarr lands, which may account for some of the new people. 6. The old town of Whitestone was destroyed by an underground people. 7. These people were allies who betrayed the town trying to befriend them. 8. Whitestone is an area of great danger to all but the most experienced travelers. 9. Mira believes that though this town is better then Whitestone, neither is ideal.
I believe this sums up what Mira was trying to say, which answers most of my questions about what happened to Whitestone. Again I thank you for the wealth of answers, though some of the message was a bit cryptic to say the least. It also seems that Mira implies in her message that Whitestone is a lost cause for any mere band of adventurers. Therefore I have six questions to ask of any who are reading these missives:
1. Was I correct in all of the information written above?
2. What is invading the Sarr lands?
3. Is the invasion extending into or beyond Lochling, or does it seem it will soon?
4. Are there any other notable dangers, threats, or concerns in Lochling?
5. What is better about Lochling then the surrounding area?
6. Is the army doing anything about the invaders of Whitestone, or is the city considered permanently lost territory?
I thank you all for your patience and understanding in reading and responding to these missives, and I hope to be able to thank you in person as soon as I can.
Sincerely, Radonious Hellfire

(Duplicated for the purpose of being seen by those following 'Whitestone?' and those following 'a whispered warning,' but only one message posted near the others)
I beleive we should stop writing about the one who caused issue in the old town of Whitestone. I have felt a strange magic, which was similar to the formal whispering wind, but far stronger then any I have heard. It told me not to speak his name, though I know not who sent it. It also said something about not being able to return to help again. I think in this case we should let the past remain in the past.

M'lady Sunset,
The good messenger there has mentioned you in connection with a Gypsy's lost hat I believe. I'm sorry I was not there for the party; it has been far too long since I tasted the fruit of the vine with a happy Gypsy. I would very much like to hear the grand stories of this new town, as well as any others you and your "brother" may have. Unfortunately, my concerns written above take precedence over celebration and more joyful things. Though anywhere a Gypsy is, the party is sure to follow, I'm sure you understand that anything that prevents one from reaching the party must be removed before one can celebrate. I am sure that once the above inconveniences are taken care of we will have plenty of time for stories and good drink, but for now I would like for my questions, written above, to be addressed so that I may reach you all more safely and better equipped for what is to come.

Well,
The city of Lochling is the main city for the Southern Province, and it is very well protected. The Sarr lands are well off to the southwest of here, over the mountain range. The concern however is that goblinoids of all shapes and sizes have joined together and began to move into the Sarr desert lands, as well as into Akliceium There are a few passages and roads that lead through the range and into Akliceium, but the Army of the Southern Province is handling this quite nicely. One road, however, is not occupied, but the goblins have not found it to have used it, or something else prevents them from such.
As far as Whitestone is concerned, the area has been returned to the quarry it once was. Underground there are occasional concerns, but the Western province security, army or somesuch seem to have taken care of it, or at the least keep the quarry workers safe.

M'lord or Lady,
Thank you very much for this additional information. From the wealth of information spoken here by all of you, I beleive I will be able to make the trip to your shore rather safly within the next few days. I hope to arrive within the next week, but only the stars can tell. I thank you all again.
