I noticed the teaching playtest was not on the list. Is that to say we will no longer be using the teaching playtest? If so, what will become of the skill points purchased?

Good questions.
The teaching playtest is not an official international playtest, so it does not appear on the list. However, the book clearly states that each chapter defines how skills are taught, and the teaching of skills in game will be conducted as it has in the past. You can teach more people more often with more skill as you take CO: Teaching.
For those of you with CO: Teaching, it is an official skill in the book, and you do get silver each game day for it. It works whether you teach with it or not.
So, yes, teaching for skills will be something we will reintroduce. Teaching for experience will not be in the game.

Ok, so does that mean we've changed to rules to make it just a craftsmen, other skill now? Sorta loses it's appeal without the teaching for experience...

It's always been a CO skill. Teaching will still be the way to spend build here, once you get past a certain level. Teaching for experience circumvents the silver turn-in system. However, there will be in-game ways to replace the effect we're talking about. Without revealing too much, FOIG. Mitch
